Joseph Patrick Mc Comb Joseph (Jo) was born in St Hellier Jersey Channel Islands. His interest in photography started while attending Victoria College: Jersey. During 2015 he completed photo shoots for sport days and was a member of the college Editorial Team for the College 70th Liberation Supplement, having several photos in the supplement. In the 2016 Jersey Eistedford’s Photography Competition, he entered several pieces of his work, this resulted in him receiving the Platium award for best picture, along with Gold, Silver and Bronze for other pieces. This spurned Jo on and in the 2017 Eistedford he picked up the “Mannion Throphy” for best Manipulated Work, for 18 Years and younger. Along with a selection of Gold Silver and Bronze for other pieces. The 2018 Eistedford saw him submit a number of the Architectual Photos he was working on for his “A” Levels, this resulted in further sucess with more prizes including, 2# Platium, 2# Gold, 6# Silver, 2# Bronze and 1# Copper. The turning point in his photography was having to choose his options for his “A” levels in 2016: he decided to do “Photography” and “Multi Media”. HIS FINAL RESULTS WERE A* and A which CONTRIBUTED TO him BEING ACCEPTED into Plymouth University in 2018 to study “Enviromental Sciences”. HE IS HOPING TO USE HIS PHOTOGRAPHY TO SUPPLEMENT HIS FINAL THESIS. Now at University the Photography has to take a back seat.
